6+1 interviews: Elle Price from Elle´s Studio

I am thrilled to introduce you to a very special guest on the 6+1 interviews series: Elle Price from Elle´s Studio! Elle started her business in 2007, the company specializes in journaling and embellishment tags. Have a very close look at Elle´s fabulous crafting desk – isn´t it amazing? Elle is one of the nicest persons ever, with a big heart and tons of gorgeous ideas (did you see the big yellow cup she is holding? I really want one of those!).

1. Describe yourself in five words

Creative, honest, kind, protective and ambitious

2. What are you creating?
Lots and lots of layouts and mini books! We are working on adding some new series to our blog for Elle’s Studio, and so I’ve been feeling extra inspired creating things for them.

3. When and why did you start crafting?
I’ve been crafting ever since I was a little girl – my mom and grandma were very creative women! My mom taught me to use scissors by the time I was 2 ½ and she always encouraged me to create. Because of her encouragement I keep going and am very, VERY thankful that my hobby became my career!

4. How do you explain to other people what you are doing?
I usually start by asking if they know what scrapbooking is, then explain it from there. A lot of people have friends they know that are involved in the hobby, so that makes it easier :) Sometimes I’ll take out my phone and show them, too!

5. Who or what inspires you?
I love reading blogs and magazines! I also love to look at the colors used in fashion to inspire color combos!

6. Three crafting related things you would take along on a lonely island?
Journaling tags, an instant camera, and my favorite pen!

+1 Additional: What does your crafting room look like (feel free to add a picture!)

Thank you, Elle!

  1. Ich bin so froh, dass es anscheinend überall so aussieht.
Gut… vielleicht bei mir nicht mit soooooooooo vielen tollen Produkten, aber genauso chaotisch :-).
